In my shopping cart...#3

Well, it has been a while since I did this, but yup. Assuming I have money to spend, I would get these:

source: http://www.modcloth.com/Womens/Dresses/-Dot-Necessarily-Dress
This pretty dress from modcloth costs US$69.99. I have this thing for polka dots. I think it is because of my alma mater. We had polka-dotted uniform:) I miss it much! This dress gives me a very cutesy feel. I like:D

source: http://www.cambridgesatchel.co.uk/classic-trunk-202-p.asp
Heh heh! I finally found somewhere which sells traditional trunks! Doesn't this remind you a little of Harry Potter? They have trunk of so many colours like M&Ms. Haha. This costs like £143.00! Not very cheap for a trunk. But I think I would really get this when I get my own house because it gives a really vintage feel...and it comes in PINK. I imagine a big white bed and a pink trunk at the foot of the bed. Sturdy, good, big, old trunk to keep stuff in.

Isn't this shoe so pretty? It is so fairy-tale like. It costs £89.99.

I love wearing overalls. I think it makes people look like they come from the country side. Quite cool. This is like a pinafore and overalls at the same time. Cute! Costs £32.00.

Did I mention that I LOVE Disney? Yea, I do. I love this bangle from Disney Couture! Pink and Disney. Nice. Costs £28.00.

I hope you like what I got in my shopping cart today! I want to be able to get all of these in the future, so I must work harder now! Gambete! Ciao!

Wayy cool stuff. 0.0

Well...if you have a wacom tablet, this is definitely something which you must try. The coolness of this is beyond any explanation! I do not know if it works for normal graphic tablets, but you should try.

You see, I got a intruos 4 so maybe that is why I did not know this till now. Wacom has this really cool application for the Bamboo series called the Bamboo Dock. I was wondering if I could use it but heh heh. I could in the end. Here is a screen shot of it:

The small squares are the apps I downloaded. Some are games and some are just for fun. A must try is the OPS. It is like a surgery thingie. You must do an operation on this person. See if the person survives. HAHA. My third patient died because I wanted him to. Some apps are preloaded. Anyway, the really cool app is the mood tuner. It is cool beyond cool. Look!
It is this app that you can move around to listen to songs based on your mood which is determined by the colours you drag around. After fiddling with it for a while, I figured something out. Green is for classical music and Blue is pop(usually). I am not too sure about the rest though. I was playing around with it and I ended up once with the news...in German ^^ There were Russian, French, German online radio stations.
-___-|||

So, I figured. this is a European application so they have European stations. Haha! My only complain is that the songs are not very clear. But then again, I am receiving European stations from Singapore. It is like half the world away. I managed to listen to songs that I like, so I have decided that I like this. It is wayyy amazing.  It would be really great if the reception is better though. Sigh.

Another application is Livebrush mini. Seriously, I lovelovelove this. It is vector drawing. This is the first time I am trying this and I am already in love with it. However, I encountered a problem. I cannot seem to export the pictures I make into .PNG format so that I can colour it in photoshop. In fact, I cannot change the file format at all. So, in order to show you what I did, I used screenshot. Here:

I will leave you with this:) Go try it out if you have not! Ciao!

K-drama?

Well, let me tell you something bad I did. I started watching Korean dramas again! That is not good because you will get addicted to it! I should not have started. But it was soooo good. SIGH. But these choices have consequences and now I am suffering from this consequence. I spent most of last week watching the dramas, I am still stuck with a lot of revision to do and next week is my exam. Thus, I cannot enjoy the drama properly and stopped watching it altogether.

Now I am going to tell you how I got addicted to it. In other words, do not learn from me. I am a prime example of being a bad girl D:

First, I got bored with studying. I decided to find an anime to watch. But it is a very difficult task for me because I am such a horribly picky person. I found a somewhat nice anime---> Itazura na kiss!
http://www.watchanimeon.com/anime/itazura-na-kiss/
I was thinking, it is just a short show. No harm right? I was so happy after finish watching the show because I loved the ending. Heh heh. Then, I saw there was an adaptation of the show from Korea, Taiwan and Japan. OHH! I do not watch Taiwan or Japanese drama usually, so I checked out the Korean one. D: I GOT HOOKED. It was such a good show with good looking actors and actresses. The Korean version is called Mischievous kiss. AH.

Because I like the cast so much, I shall add some pictures:D

source:http://fuckyeahplayfulkiss.tumblr.com/post/1692602564
I love this scene:P

source: http://fuckyeahplayfulkiss.tumblr.com/post/1660501403
In fact, Youtube has this special edition of the show. AH. Show you how nice it is:D

This is the first of seven episodes specially made to be shown on Youtube. I highly recommend the show.
Heh. Okay. I tell you the truth. I thought the lead actor was cool. So I went to search for another show with him in it. Then I realised that he is a K-pop singer. I do not like K-pop:/ Anyway. I found another show...Boys over flowers. That show was a hit for the longest time. Everyone was talking about it, but I was not that interested. Then, I watched it.

I think it is nice too. Sigh. But I really do not like the end because the girl ended up with the other guy! :'(

Which pairing do I support? :)

source: http://impulsivesocialite.wordpress.com/2009/02/20/boys-over-flowers-episode-15-preview/
Of course it is these two! Hehe :D I really liked the characters that Kim Hyun Joong protrayed in both the shows, but his actual persona is really different. Sigh. I think he is quite pretty*-*

After this show, I tried watching others, but none of them was very good. Which is just as well. I must get back to studying. Coincidentally, both shows were adapted from mangas. I want more! But no. Next time!

Back to work, ciao!

I got a new one!

Heh heh. I am so glad that the lady at Texas Instruments helped me by doing the exchange on behalf of the distributor. I am very thankful to her because she need not help me:) Sigh. I feel very unproductive in my work though. I have one week of studying left. I really need to buck up. D:

Gambatte! Bonne chance! I must do it! FIGHTING!

Oh no.

I am so dead. My calculator died on me suddenly. The worst thing is, the local distributor is having a company outing or something and they will only be back on the 20th June! My Math exam is on the the 27th June! AHHH! My Math teacher will only be back on the last week of holidays too:'( Why did this happen to me??? Is it bad karma? AHHH! Now I have to do without my graphic calculator while doing Chemistry or Math. Grrr.

Ciao, back to studying with my dear old calculator from Secondary one. Please pray for my GC:(

Tioman Island!

Well, I finally got the pictures from the memory card so this post is really going to be full of picturesss. Heh heh. Okay. So I went to Tioman Island, Malaysia with my family last weekend for three days and two nights. My father drove there and seriously, after being awake on the trip back, I do not understand how did I managed to stay asleep on my trip there. The road is like this:

Toyota wish from: http://www.my-cars.org/sg/products_new.asp?make=8
Ya, my daddy drives a Toyota Wish. It is sliver grey though. I was to lazy to search for the correct colour. On our drive back, I was like...I SLEPT THROUGH THIS?! Oh well. This tells you a lot about me, doesn't it? Haha. Anyway, after a three hour drive, we took a one and half hour ferry. I have to say I got really irritated with the ferry service. It was supposed to come at 1130 but we waited and waited and waited. I think we waited for 45 minutes doing nothing because we were afraid that the ferry was going to leave us and the ferryman said that the next one was at 1700. So annoyed and hungry because we did not eat breakfast and I was famished. Grrr.

Well, by the time we reached the resort(we went to Paya Beach Resort), it was about 1445. We finally ate lunch at the resort. The food was okay. But there was this hornet/wasp/bee that kept flying about our table, well, the waiter hit it hard and it flew away. I was afraid it was going to bring back some of its friends and sting us all! Haha. There was also this cat which tried to give me this puppy(kitty) eyes and get me to give it food. Oh, and an adorable little boy who was speaking a language I did not understand. Ahhh! He is so preetty with blonde hair, blue eyes and sunkissed skin. I think he was trying to shoo the cat away, then the cat went nearer to him and he got scared. He went to his granny. I felt like hugging him, he is sooo cute.

Anyway, we got to nap for a while to avoid the afternoon sun after lunch. Yes, I know I am not supposed to do that. We went snorkeling at about 1600. We did not bring the camera on the first day(REGRET). There were nicer fishes and corals at the beach than the places they brought us on the second day. But...there were also more JELLY FISHES!!!!AHHH! Okay, I promised a mini story on it so here goes.
Done in PSE:)
Haha, now you know, I am not a very calm person when facing my fears! Jellyfish phobia has no special name though. Pity. Haha. I am pretty sure that this fear of mine came from Finding Nemo. But when you touch a jellyfish, it hurts:( It stings you. The worse thing is you did not offend it! Yes, I really literally hopped/jumped over my brother to get to the other side. Haha.

Okay, I think I talked enough for now. Enjoy the pictures that we(mostly my brother, cause he was hogging the camera) took.

Whoo! First picture of me! with a lot of air bubbles around.

the one that looks like a brain  is the brain coral :D

Parrot fish: a really rainbowful fish:)

many fishes
Close up of many fishes. They are all snatching for a piece of bread.

This coral is really beautiful. I love the colour. It looks a little like lavender?

Somehow, this picture looks depressing. I think it is because of the lack of fishes. Maybe they all got scared away by my brother who dived down to take this photo:/

Sea urchins, lots of them.

You know what was my reaction when I saw this? I was like, heh heh, can I grab one out and make it to uni sashimi, please? There are so many colonies? of them I think they will not miss one! But then again, when I got closer to the sea urchins, they look absolutely terrifying:( They have eyes!!! Scary. Oh and if you are wondering why the corals the sea urchins are lying on are white, it is because these are bleached/dead. More on that below.

Doesn't this picture look so surreal even crooked? Yes, unbelievable but true. I took it:)

Really beautiful sunset.
Oh, I wanted to give you an idea of how this side of the island is like so ya. the circle labelled a is where all the really really beautiful corals are. There were clownfishes(nemo), purple corals, green corals, brain corals and all those other pretty corals and fishes. Oh, but there are also a lot of nasty jellyfishes. Grrr. Try to go there when there is high tide though. It is a really rocky area and it is difficult to swim above the rocks.

Area b is the jetty. You walk inland, you will see a little shop selling food. The Ice kacang is yummy, specially when you are eating it in the afternoon. The Ramly burger, according to my brother, who ate it, is delish. Not to forget satay for supper. I did not eat that. I do not like satay much, but 10 sticks of it disappeared within 2 minutes. But the store only sells the satay at night though.

Lastly before a shocking surprise, I would like to say that Tioman island is really quite a wonderful place to visit with all the corals. But having been to Perhentian and Redang(twice) I must say that Redang island seem to have more activities to do, more places to go and the beach is really amazing. Tioman island is a really good place to relax, but there is not much things to do there. Perhentian was not so fantastic because many of the corals are getting bleached. It is really upsetting because according to an article I saw the corals at Redang are also dying. Not to mention that the shallower waters at Tioman also had many bleached corals. AHHH! Silly people are making the world go whacko! So if you wanna see corals in their wild habitat, I think you should go soon. Global warming is really endangering the corals lives. Furthermore, do you know that jellyfishes adapt very well to warmer waters? They will take over the ocean if we do not stop this and sting us to death. Anyway that was a little out of point. Point is, if people keeps damaging the Earth, we might only see corals in the aquarium. So ya. Do your part in saving our Earth.

Guess who!
Lastly, does this photo look like it is of a six year-old child? Well...you know, it is me-___-||
AHHH! How come I look like I am six year-old! I am shocked/appalled/stunned/surprised/speechless/all that I mentioned. Gosh.

Yup. Now you can also be shocked about how I look like a six year-old when I am three times that age. Ciao!

Back from Tioman and yarn shopping.

Well, I just got back from Tioman Island in Malaysia and I have to say, I am happily exhausted. I will post more the trip next time. I have to get the pictures from the camera, which is now soaking in plain water after being immersed in seawater there. I have to say that with the camera, the experience underwater is really enhanced. I even managed to take a video underwater. How cool is that??? You can hear things:) I am so excited to show you more. But that will have to wait till I get the memory card out of the camera.

Meanwhile, you will just have to look forward to it and see what I got from Spotlight:) Okay. I always have a budget of how much I spend when I go yarn shopping. Okay. Actually, all shopping;) I told myself that I was not going to spend more than $20. So here is what I got for $20:

Loots of the day:)
Okay, The three books on the background are from the national library. So technically, I did not get those. But the rest....heh heh. they are mine for keeps. Here's the breakdown of the list of items:

Pink yarn---$4
Blue yarn---$4
Cream yarn-$4
Safety eyes-$2.99
5 mm hook-$4.99
Total-------$19.98

Haha. You know what the best thing about this is? I planned to spend $20, but I did not actually count the amount till I was at the cashier. Haha. I totally got a inborn talent for budgeting. Yay me!

I am a little sad though. I think I should have bought a 4mm hook because I did not use the 5mm one in the end because it made my stitches too big:/ Oh well. I will use it next time.

I did not really get to crochet a lot, I was too busy floating in the ocean and avoiding jellyfishes. I am TERRIFIED of them. They sting:'( I will draw you a funny short story starring jellyfishes and moi next time.

Okay. So anyway, I only managed to make these during the trip:

All by me:)
Nice? I know it is not perfect, but who cares. Haha. The snail and mushroom pattern is from the book above. The one with amigurumi. The mushroom looks a little weird because I am not so good at ahem...sewing. Yes. Oh well. I did some modifications to the snail, and I love it:) I am so giving this to Wan sing, my classmate who used to be terrified of snails. I think her fear has been reduced because some friend of hers kept posting pictures of slugs and snails on her wall in Facebook for a certain period of time. Haha. The last is the bow made with my own pattern. Hehe. I will have a tutorial on how to make that when I finish editing the pictures and stuff.

Oh well, I leave you with this picture I edited. Haha. My friend brought colourful Gofish to school to share during Chemistry class. Rebecca ended up arranging the fishes according to colour. But fishes are meant to be eaten, right? So she popped them into her mouth, hmmm. It is a tad too salty for her taste. Haha. Ciao!

Rebecca:)
